Your Wedding Professionals: Hairxperts

The last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day is your hair. I know this because I am a bride myself and my hair is one of the many things on the wonderful list to get done for your special day. Everyday you change your mind, what color you want your hair to be, cut, style, updo…and the list goes on. When I met Arnie and Iris Kasdan and began to plan my wedding the issue of hair was totally in their hands, and everything became beautiful.

When Arnie and Iris moved to Wilmington over eight years ago they were looking for a slower pace of life. Iris left her family in Israel and moved to New York. After attending an extensive beauty school there, her first job lead her to work in Arnie’s salon. Mr. Kasdan himself owned and operated his own 10,000 sq-ft salon including 55 employees. Arnie was also one of the original Paul Mitchell associates, being the first cosmotologist selected from the state of New York to travel the world with Paul Mitchell.

The Kasdan’s now own and operate HAIRXPERTS at Fulton Station. Their salon offers just what they wanted for their full service hair salon. Iris being a Goldwell master colorist with 20 years experience specializes in color, cuts, and of course bridal updos and styling. In addition to Arnie and Iris the salon also has a staff of two including Kristin Gunning, with 5 years experience as a cosmotologist. Kristin has been with Arnie and Iris since they moved to Wilmington, and myself Amy Pederson as a salon coordinator. I have been with Arnie and Iris for 4 years now.
